San Clemente JUNIORettes

San Clemente Juniorettes is growing - there are lots of girls that are interested in the club so the word is out!!  Let us represent the club and be responsible figures in the community.  It is a priviledge to work together and be part of a club that makes a postive change in San Clemente. Each of us represents a portion of the club so remember to respect your membership and be your best in all that you do!

Tshirts are in and they are cute! Everyone voted YES - they are the best! If you would like a tshirt just call Glenda in Juniors or sign up at the next meeting and tell us your size! We do not order anything until you have prepaid.  The sizes are S M and L and the sizes are typical to a tshirt. Most of the girls would wear a S or M.  The shirts are 16 and the Sweatshirts are 28 and visors are 12. The embroiderer is part of the SCJWC and capable of all different kinds of orders. Some of these proceeds go back to the club - So think of it as a donation and order up!  Shirts are black and the sweatshirts are the zip up hooded.  Another initiation of members will be scheduled for March, 2004 for the girls that have their hours and requirements in - Get moving so you, too will be ready for the day!

We are always looking for good ideas as to where to put our attention and help the community and we want to stay busy and earn more hours so if you hear of service work that you find interesting or if you see a need bring it up at the next meeting so we can follow up.  We are here to help out any way we can.

 Juniorette Pledge
I pledge my loyalty to the SC Juniorettes, by being prompt, honest and hard-working; by always doing my best to give back to my community, by respecting others and most importantly, myself.

The HOUR SHEET is now on the page of the Officer Roster - feel free to copy and save to a word document so to fill out and hand in! You can either mail it in our give it to an officer at the next meeting (there is a bag for depositing hours at the meetings). You are REQUIRED to hand in hours so we can keep track of what each person is volunteering and record it with the Federation Womens Club. That way everyone benefits - YOU and the COMMUNITY !!

SAN CLEMENTE JUNIORETTES IS THE PLACE TO BE!!

San Clemente has started a new club! San Clemente juniorettes is a volunteer, non-profit organization that will give time and support back to the community. The members consist of young girls in San Clemente between the ages of 13 and 18 that will work together. The Juniorettes is an extension of the San Clemente Junior Womens Club; the SCJWC guides and offers many volunteer opportunities for the youth to join in on.
It is a great way to meet new friends, give back to the community, earn credit for volunteer hours and be rewarded by the results of your efforts.

Why do I want to be in a club??
The club will expose one to all different areas of volunteer work, it will let you work hand in hand with other club members and with the community. You will have the chance to get involved, meet new friends, work together, better the community and earn volunteer hours for your resume in the future.

What is this club??
The club is being formed under the supervision of the San Clemente Junior Womens Club and will be a vital role model for the young girls. Juniorette Volunteers will help in SCJWC functions and have several fund raisers of their own. Juniorettes will be a seperate identity they will have officers, a budget, bylaws and meetings to attend.

Who can be in the club??
Girls the ages of 13 to 18 are welcome! Highschool years are essential to make connections in the community. These days hours of volunteering are needed on college applications and what a better way to fill these requirements and service the community at the same time! The community needs the youth and the youth needs the community!!
